It is quite normal for dogs to be kept outdoors in rural Korea, however we believe that Miss Joy deserves better and we need your help! Her previous owner was unkind, neglectful and abusive, but Miss Joy currently has a team of volunteers that visit her daily to spend time with her and give her snacks. These kind souls have also brought her to the vet to ensure she is healthy and up to date on all vaccines and testing. Miss Joy is shy at first, but once she becomes familiar with you she will approach you with a wagging tail. This girl has only known life outside so she will need someone patient, who is willing to teach her what life in a home has to offer her. Miss Joy loves other dogs, so a home with a confident sibling to show her the ropes would be a huge plus for her.
