A Tripod Border Collie!!! You will be the talk of the Dog Park!!! Marla is going to be a wonderful dog, and needs some special love to help get her there. As a Border Collie she is smart, so she will work with you to become the best girl! She was shot in the leg as a puppy, and her bones fused around the metal fragments. Later she was dumped on the side of the road with Puppies. She was a wonderful mom and her puppies are either adopted or being transported to rescues in the north. She has recently had her leg amputated (June 4th) and is adjusting to the tripod life. She is learning trust and affection and is very receptive. She will need love and patience, and you can tell she will return it. She likes sit by her foster mom, makes deep eye contact and gives tail wags. Marla will be best with someone who can give her the attention she need to heal and learn how to be a dog.
