Meet Missy! Here is what her foster has to say : Missy is a 1.5-year-old Labrador Retriever mix and is black with white markings and roughly 50lbs. A former stray from Texas, she’s been in Canada for a month now and we’re amazed at how well she’s adapted to her new life. She has a super sweet personality and loves to meet new people and play with other dog friends. She almost never barks, doesn’t resource guard or mind having her nails trimmed. Missy is fully crate and house-trained. We’re working on her obedience now and she already walks great on a leash. She’s a fast and eager learner and works for praise as much as treats. In the house, she’ll happily chew on her toys for hours, or curl up at your feet and fall asleep. She will quickly become your little shadow, excited to see what you’re getting up to as you move around the home. If it’s sunny outside she’ll flop over on the grass or deck and bask and watch the world go by, or join you on a walk. While we haven’t seen her swim yet, Missy is happy to splash around in the water. Located in Halifax, Nova Scotia and available for meet and greets with approved adopters!
