UPDATE: Nov 12 - Adoption Pending
Nov 03, 2006 - Introducing Misty
Misty is a sweet, affectionate 3 year old blue female. She is overweight right now and will need to be on a diet and in a home that provides her with ample exercise. It shouldn't be too hard - she loves to play fetch with toys and balls, then turn the game into a tug-of-war.
After a good play session she likes nothing more than to sit next to, or preferably, on her human for some quality snuggling time. She has a tad a of separation anxiety (whining and crying) when one of her people leaves the room or closes a door. This usually passes in a few minutes and has not been an issue when people leave the house.
She is potty trained for the most part - but prefers that her people go outside with her and then give her a lot of praise for being a good girl. She is learning to sleep in a bed - she likes to sleep on pillows by her foster mom's head, or in the crook of her arm. She does not like the crate or having anything over her head.
Misty does well with other dogs and is fascinated by cats. She doesn't chase - but she'll follow them around and try to figure out what they are. She has not shown any forms of aggression and is just a big cuddle bug full of kisses and love.
