Sadly, he was surrendered by his owner who could not keep him. It must be so confusing for this sweet boy, wondering what is happening. He's got a lot of that crawls-in-laps, cheesy-snack kind of love, but he's feeling unsure of who to trust right now. Let's restore Mitch's faith in humanity and treats (but no chicken please- he's allergic!). He has such potential and he needs you! And a volunteer had this to share: "Mitch is a loose-leash pro and a low-energy guy once you get him out of the stress of the shelter. He happily greeted people we met at the Arboretum and sought pets. He gave other dogs friendly tail wags and retained loose dog body language.
