My Story

Please note that financial sponsorship will be applied to the specific animal you indicate unless it is not needed, at which time we will let you designate it for another HT animal of your choice.

Isn't Mitch just a heart breaker? He is between 9-11 months old and about 25 lbs. We don't know whether he is housebroken, but we do think he is crate trained.

Poor Mitch has had a very tough life. The previous owner's child jumped on him and broke his leg! He was seen by the vet at his shelter, and they determined that it was broken, but couldn't fix it because of the place of the break. He is such a resiliant dog, though, he gets around on it just fine -- although the vet said that it would have to be amputated at some point in his life. If that wasn't enough, he also had Sarcoptic mange, but has recovered from that as well.

He is such a resiliant little dog, and he has so much to give. He is sweet and loving and really, really wants wants a family to call his own. Please consider giving this little guy the break he deserves.

The adoption fee for this dog is $250, which covers the cost of routine vet care, as well as spay/neuter surgery.
