My Story

Sweet and sensitive are the words that best describe this little girl. Mochi needs time to adjust to new surroundings and people, but your patience will be rewarded! She is a happy playful girl that loves to run around and chase toys. She benefits from calm/ patient handling and will win you over with her sweetness. She loves to curl up in your lap and get plenty of snuggles. She can be hesitant on leash, but with patience, she will fully enjoy a moderate walk with plenty of exploration. While she may startle at sudden movement or sound, she remains curious and gentle. Mochi is looking for someone ready to guide her through a new and exciting life! APPROXIMATE WEIGHT: 22 ESTIMATED DOB: 5/31/2024 GOOD WITH OTHER DOGS: selective GOOD WITH KIDS: yes GOOD WITH CATS: unknown REQUIRES A FENCE: no ACTIVITY LEVEL: medium LIKES TO VOCALIZE: no SPECIAL NEEDS: no BREED EXPERIENCE NEEDED: no APPROPRIATE PLACEMENT FOR 1ST TIME DOG OWNER? yes FREE OBEDIENCE TRAINING IS OFFERED WITH ALL DOG ADOPTIONS Please note that we are often asked if dogs are "house trained". The dogs are in fact living in a kennel environment during their time with us. Even if they have previously lived in a home and been trained - the stress of the change and the new home can sometimes cause regression and require some additional training. We feel that it's best for all adopters to be prepared for this possibility. Visit our adoption page for details about our process, and to fill out an adoption application. All animals come spayed/neutered, UTD on vaccines, and microchipped. If the animals age or health prevents any of these from being completed prior to adoption a voucher is issued for the services to be performed. If you have any questions about the animal, or our adoption process, please email [email protected]. The Little Guild is a 501c(3) federally recognized non-profit organization devoted to saving the lives of homeless pets.
