Greetings from Chicago English Bulldog Rescue! We are one-and-only English Bulldog rescue in the state of Illinois recognized by the Bulldog Club of America and the Bulldog Club of America Rescue Network! What that means for adopters and surrending families and shelters is that our bullies get the highest level of care and commitment. They spend their time with us in foster homes where they get daily love and attention. No cages, no institutions.

We are an Illinois licensed shelter and a 501c3 charitable organization. The care we provide our English bulldogs, including a high quality diet, the best veterinary care from a bulldog specialist, and behavioral evaluations, exceeds any rescue organization around. Our adoption area includes Chicago-proper and the surrounding suburbs, Northern Illinois, Southeastern Wisconsin, Northwest Indiana, Rockford, and parts of Milwaukee including the Waukesha and Burlington areas. Meet Moe! Moe is a 3 year old, neutered male and weighs in at 60 lbs! Moe is a very mellow, laid back bully. He is current on his vaccinations, is microchipped and has been well cared for. Moe has had his palette trimmed and a dental done. Moe came to CEBR after his previous owners faced financial problems and a move.

Moe is totally housebroken and crate trained. He is happiest lying on a dog bed snoring. He walks well on a leash but is not fond of long walks. He prefers to go out – do his business – and come back in for treats. He takes his treats so gently by hand that you sometimes wonder if he even took the treat!

Moe has adjusted well in his foster home. He is good with kids and most other dogs. We’re not sure about cats. He eats well and sleeps thru the night. No crying at all. He runs up and down the stairs and loves checking out his surroundings. If Moe has any dislikes it would be the vacuum. He barks at it but eventually stops. He tries to climb up on your lap so he can get his belly rub. He makes the cutest sound when his belly is rubbed and when you stop – he just lays there enjoying the moment. He has met many neighbors while out walking and enjoys all the attention.

Moe was obviously well loved in his prior home and it shows. He knows some commands such as sit & stay and constantly is trying to please. He will make someone an excellent family member.

Moe’s adoption fee is $575. Our adoption criteria for Moe are as follows:
-- CEBR Adoption Radius Only. NO EXCEPTIONS.
--Home with another dog that fits the personality profile we’re looking for – a laid back dog
--Kids would be a-okay as long as they are over 8 years (CEBR Rules!)
