This precious face belongs to Moira Rose, a sweet, shy, snuggly girl looking for a loving home. Moira was rescued from a puppy mill, discarded and unwanted when she did not sell as a younger puppy. She's now 8 months old and weighs just 10 pounds. Given her past, she is understandably shy when meeting new people and in new environments, but she's progressing greatly in her foster home. Mo was very uncertain about her foster mom when she arrived at Pal's Place. However, after just a few days of patience and understanding, she began to open up and show her affectionate and snuggly personality. She now follows her foster mom everywhere and is very much a lap dog. Moira does well with cats and other dogs, and we are looking to place her in a home with at least one other social canine friend to show her the ropes and help boost her confidence. She is crate-trained and doing well with housebreaking when kept on a regular schedule. Moira's ideal guardians should be patient and understanding of her background and be prepared to give her all the time and love she'll need to adjust to a new home. Due to her timid nature and small size, she is not a good match for a home with children. A securely fenced yard is also required; adopters must be prepared to have her professionally groomed every 6-8 weeks. Moira is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, and recently groomed. Her adoption fee to the rescue is $500. She's ready and anxious to begin her new life as a much-loved and cherished companion.
