Moon Man

Moon Man is just your average, perfect dog who somehow ended up at the shelter. He will sit on your feet proudly while enjoying endless pets. He played appropriately with both male and female dogs. He has a very unique white coat which is spotted with brown spots, "moon craters". He LOVES treats and is very easy to leash up for a walk. During playgroups, volunteers noted that Moon Man had a soft and gentle demeanor. He will engage nicely with other calmer dogs, but higher energy dogs overwhelm him and he gets defensive. He was always looking to the humans for a nice little bellyrub, even while the yard is teeming with other pups to play with. Moon Man interacted nicely with calmer males and females, and even a puppy, while playing in a mixed gender group of five. He's just a bit terrified here - the loud noises, the strange people, the intake exam, the photoshoot...he's not quite sure what is happening. However, the longer he has been at the shelter, the more and more confident and silly he has become. He has brought so many smiles to the volunteers that we are confident he will find his happily-ever-after family. He is up to date on vaccinations, flea/tick, and heartworm prevention, is microchipped, and will be neutered prior to going home. If you have dogs or cats, we recommend slow introductions over time.
