Moorey is fostered in Kentucky, USA. (Note: The adoption fee is in Canadian dollars.) Moorey lived in a barn pen for a very long time, feeling incredibly lonely. Now that he’s experiencing the joy of living indoors with a family, he never wants to be left alone again. Moorey simply wants to stay by your side and will be your loyal, loving companion. Moorey has come such a long way and deserves a loving home where he’ll never feel alone again. Moorey’s Amazing House Manners: Housetrained: No accidents in the house. Furniture Friendly: Doesn’t climb on furniture or counter surf. Polite: Not pushy with food you have in your hand. Crate Lover: Enjoys his crate and sleeps there peacefully all night. He also eats his meals in his crate, which helps control his food intake. Vocal: He’s a singer and can be loud when there are reasons to vocalize. Leash skills: Improving nicely with a harness. Fenced yard preferred: He loves to relax outside. Health and Diet: Moorey is on a strict diet and enjoys gentle walks twice a day to help him regain his strength and shed those extra pounds. He gets healthy veggies (thawed green beans, carrots, broccoli, etc.) mixed with his food as a weight loss strategy that’s working well. He digests human food nicely. --Neutered, fully vaccinated, and microchipped. --Estimated age: 2-3 years old. --Current weight: Dropping, and at a healthy lean weight, he might be around 34 kg (75 lbs). --Excellent with other dogs and good with children. --Moorey is good with cats!
