Meet Morty! This handsome hound found his way to us a couple days after Christmas while out on a hunt. He must have known what he was doing as he appeared very weak, ragged and in need of medical care. We immediately fell in love with him, his gentle loving spirit and his soulful, pleading eyes. His owner picked him up but the following morning we called him and pleaded for him. Well, we got a late Christmas gift as his owner agreed to let us take him in to The Chance Foundation. He has been an outdoor hunting hound his entire life, but he has made it abundantly clear to us that he is ready to retire and live a life of indoor comforts and a lot of love. We believe Morty is approximately 5 or 6 years old. He is a sweet appreciative boy and doesn't ask for much more than a cozy, warm bed, yummy food and someone to dote on him.
