Don't love Morty yet? You will! Morty is a perfect 50 pounds of happiness and energy. Playing ball? He's there. Going for a run? Sign him up! Snuggling on the couch? He'll bring the popcorn. (Not really. But if you bring it, he'll eat it for you.) Morty is still learning his doggy manners and would benefit from an experienced owner and/or one dedicated to his exercise and training. Because of this, Morty needs to go to a home with no young (teens and up y'all) children. Morty has done well meeting other dogs while in our care but appears to be somewhat choosy about his canine pals, so if you've got another dog at home, bring them in to meet Morty and see if they're a good match. Morty is the ideal dog for day trips and outings. Whether it be hiking in the mountains or traversing local parks, Morty is an excellent companion. Come on in and take Morty home today! This pet is eligible for an Adoption Audition! What is an Adoption Audition? It's a 5-day, no-strings-attached, trial adoption period. You can take this pet home to try it out! Interested? Come to the shelter any time during open hours and talk to one of our Customer Care staff! If you'd like to meet our available pets, please check the pet's profile to see if they are located at our Fairfax Campus (4500 West Ox Road, Fairfax) or our Lorton Campus (8875 Lorton Road, Lorton). Then, come in during our open hours!
