Moses

"Moses" originate from the Sioux City Animal Control where he was not doing very well so a couple took him home and fostered him for a little while until he could be transported to Omaha. Moses was going to go to the Nebraska Humane Society in Omaha, but after a large puppy mill filled their shelter he came to IG Rescue instead. He is a very energetic little guy weighing around 12 lbs (estimate) but is definately on the smaller side of the scale compared to many IGs we see. He is very muscular and weighs more than one would expect when looking at him. We believe him to be between 1 - 2 years old, and was just neutered in mid-June. Moses has an all white body, but his head is grey giving him a very unique look. Moses has light brown eyes. He loves to be held and cuddled like a baby. His temporariy foster home had three cats, a greyhound and a 10 year old son that Moses gets along with very well. He has done well with potty training. We keep him on a schedule with a couple accidents mainly with pooping. Moses is working on his kennel habits and would rather be held than be in a kennel. Moses is being fostered in Omaha, NE and applications from the central US will be considered above other areas. We do not ship dogs due to the extreme temperatures reached in airline cargo and stress on the dog, once a home is approved the adopter is responsible for transport.
