At just eight months old, this adorable subcompact pittie boy weighs about 40 pounds and has already faced more challenges than most. Saved from euthanasia as a young three-month-old puppy, Mouse has been working hard every day to overcome his fears and insecurities. Mouse has been fortunate to spend the last few months with a fantastic trainer named Angie, who reports that he has made huge strides. He's completely muzzle trained for his safety, house and crate trained, and is steadily making new friends each week. Despite his behavioral challenges, Mouse is incredibly food motivated, which has been a big help in his training progress. Finding Mouse a committed home that will continue his training and support his journey won't be an easy task, but Angie believes there’s a special someone out there willing to give him a chance. Mouse is as cute as they come, fostered with other dogs, and known for his cuddly and sweet nature. He has so much love to give, but he needs a patient and understanding family who can provide the time, love, and structure he needs to thrive.
