Moxie is a very special girl and a very tough girl to place. She has been through a lot and was not socialized as a puppy. Moxie is not a confident girl and does not trust strangers. She has done well at the vet's office once I hand over the leash. She loves a puppy, but not so good with dogs. Unfortunately, she is not so good with people she doesn't know and trust either. She is amazing with babies and toddlers! Anything innocent, she trusts immediately. Once she does, she is the sweetest and most loving girl you could ever ask for. I can hardly get her off of me on the couch. She is a snuggle bug. Moxies best fit would be a single individual who doesn't have people coming and going all the time, unless you are a trainerand can handle her. She can and will bite if she is uncomfortable or feels she needs to protect. We are prepared to keep her until that special someone comes along that just clicks with her or that had the patience to really want her. We have spent the money to have her treated for mastitis and heartworm disease. She is worth it. She is not a dog for everyone.
