Mr. Anderson

(ADOPTION PENDING)We are really not sure what breed of dog to call Mr. Anderson as he really does resemble a Tibetan Terrier. His true breed history might always be a mystery! Regardless, he does have an interesting story. Mr. Anderson was seen on a morning review of the security camera tape at our local animal control facility. Shockingly his previous owners dumped him off around midnight and he can be seen running all around the animal control facility in a panic. When the first employees arrived and viewed the surveillance tape they saw Mr. Anderson and began their search outside for this precious little dog. If you can believe it he was found across the busy street about 2 blocks down at the gas station. He had survived the busy road and managed to not get hit for about 8 hours following his abandonment. Mr Anderson, or Andy, has been nothing but grateful since his rescue. We are just thankful the shelter workers did not give up on this boy and looked for him until he was found! We have not had Andy too long but in our care he seems to get along well with all our shelter dogs and cats. He is under a year old and is extremely loving. His hair is a bit of a mess and will require regular grooming, please be sure you are ready to make that commitment before applying for Andy.
