Mr. Gibbs

Meet Mr. Gibbs, the distinguished gentleman who's looking for his forever home! Mr. Gibbs is currently in foster care, and he's an absolute gem of a dog. Although he doesn't live with other dogs, Mr. Gibbs gets along great with them. He lived with a small dog in his previous foster home and was very gentle. On walks, he pays minimal attention to other dogs and is well-behaved. He also shares his space with a cat, and they live together peacefully. Mr. Gibbs is very gentle with the cat and doesn't bother him at all. When left alone, Mr. Gibbs is crate-trained and does exceptionally well. He sleeps soundly in his crate and doesn't cry or bark. He's still working on house training, but he's making progress. He's not fully house-trained yet, so he needs to be crated when left alone to prevent accidents. Mr. Gibbs may be an older gentleman, but he still enjoys his walks. He walks slowly and likes to stop and smell the roses, but off-leash, he'll follow you wherever you go. He's polite and respectful to everyone he meets, whether they're humans or strangers. Mr. Gibbs is a love bug who adores human affection, especially chin scratches. He'll become your loyal shadow once he knows you. Mr. Gibbs is suitable for most homes, whether you're around a lot or work outside the home. He's almost zero maintenance and is good with cats and all noises. The only thing to consider is how he might do with small children. Check out his instagram @hi_foster
