My Story
My #BoroughBreak Buddy Writes: Mr. Peaches is very friendly and enthusiastic about going out, but he is fearful of certain things (fast moving cars, loud noises, etc.). He was a little nervous on the subway and the Uber. He peed twice indoors, so he might not be fully house trained. Besides that, we had a great time with him. Once he settles down, he is even more goofy and playful. He loves to eat, play with toys, and rolls over for belly rubs. He knows to sit for treats.
There is an adorable video of me on ACC's TikTok page. Click here to experience the cuteness!
All pets are vaccinated, microchipped, and spayed/neutered when appropriate.

A bit about me:
Mr. Peaches was found tied to a tree before he was brought to Manhattan ACC by NYPD. He is a staff and volunteer favorite, and vienna sausages are his weakness! We are hoping that he will find an adopter that loves him as much as the famous Miss Peaches is loved by David Portnoy.
My ideal home:
While we don't have a history on Mr. Peaches, we do know he's a young, enthusiastic, and social dog who will thrive with daily mental and physical activities. To keep him happily engaged and exercised, we recommend long-lasting chews, food puzzles, and fun hide-and-seek games, along with plenty of physical exercise. With the right activities, his energy and enthusiasm will be positively directed!
Good with other pets?
Mr. Peaches was calm and neutral around other dogs during his assessments, so he might get along well with new doggy friends with proper introductions and socialization. We always suggest slow introductions with resident pets, and we offer a 2-week trial adoption to help you see if Mr. Peaches is a good fit with your family. Since ACC doesn't test with cats, we're not sure how he'd do with feline friends, but we can help you with tips and advice!
Good with kids?
Since Mr. Peaches came to us as a stray, we don't have much information about his past. For now, we think he'll do best in a home without young children under 5, as he needs a patient family that will allow him to come out of his shell at his own pace. With a bit of patience and training, he'll be a wonderful addition to a loving family! Primary Color: Tan Weight: 54lbs Age: 5yrs 3mths 2wks
