Mr. Wiggles

Meet Mr. Wiggles: Mr. Wiggles’ journey is nothing short of miraculous. This brave little guy was found abandoned on the side of the road and brought to Chicago Animal Care and Control. From the moment they laid eyes on him, the staff knew something was seriously wrong. Poor Mr. Wiggles couldn’t stand, and time was running out for him. In an urgent plea to save his life, It's A Pittie Rescue stepped in just in time, finding him a wonderful foster home where his recovery began. Despite the odds, Mr. Wiggles’ spirit remained unbroken. A Message from Mr. Wiggles: Hi there, Wiggles here with a pupdate request! I've been well cared for in my foster home, and they all love me as much as I love them. But now that I'm getting better and can help get myself around, I'm ready to find my forever home and family! My dream would be a family with siblings (fur or otherwise) who will shower me with love and affection at every turn! Although I love a good romp, sometimes my wobbles make me fall over. But don’t fret! I don’t let it bother me. I just rest a minute and then get back to it! Remember, I am still recovering, so I can get tired easily. The doctor said I may take several months to be fully back up to speed. So I need a family with the patience to go at the speed I’m at for now, but also help push me to be my best self! I’m still adjusting to all the changes around me and with my body as it heals, so sometimes accidents happen. But I want my forever family to know that I don’t like to make messes! I prefer to do my ‘accounting’ outside, so I would love a way to tell you I need to go out. (My foster ‘rents are trying to teach me to use a bell, but I haven’t quite figured it out yet.) I also sometimes get excited and kick my water bowl, splashing it overboard. So something easy to keep it clean and contained is best—like the empty box my bowl is in now! It catches my spills on a towel instead of on the floor! I don’t mean to spill, I’m just still gaining muscles to control my body again. And most of all, I want my forever family to LOVE snuggles! I am a lap dog for sure, and I make a great little spoon—you just may have to help me get up on the couch or bed to do it!
