Muffin

Introducing Huckleberry and Muffin! This father/daughter duo are NOT bonded (happy to be separate), but come from the same sad situation -- they, along with several other hounds, spent years living outside on a patch of dirt in someone's yard. They had no shelter, no clean water, and very little food. And yet, despite everything, you'll never meet a sweeter set of pups! Huckleberry and Muffin were deprived of love and affection their entire lives, and now they're making up for lost time. Huckleberry (M, hound, 10-yrs-old) is a gentle soul who just wants to lean up against you, gaze into your eyes, and enjoy all the pets and rubs you're willing to give. Muffin (F, hound, 1.5-yrs-old) is just as affectionate and loving as her dad, but with a little more bounce and goofiness. Huckleberry and Muffin radiate joy and gratitude. The strength of their spirits amaze us every day. They are both heartworm-positive, but Animal Aid will pay for their treatment, even after you bring them home (together or separately).
