Muffin

Hi! My name is Muffin! I was rescued from Miami Dade Animal Shelter and brought to the Big Dog Ranch Rescue to find my furever home. I was rescued with a broken leg that had to be amputated, but I've adjusted very well to life as a tri-pawd. I have a lot of energy and I love to be on the move, so I'd like an active person who can help tire me out. I do get tired a little sooner than dogs with all their legs, but that doesn't mean I can't play. I really enjoy my walkies! I'm still practicing my leash manners and obedience training, but I'm very treat motivated, which will help a lot! I love to play with my people, but I'm picky about dog friends, cats and small animals so I will need proper introduction to dog friends and no little animals in my home, please! I may prefer to be the only dog in your home unless I have a really good introduction and an experienced adopter. I do get along with kids, but I'd prefer to share my home with adults or big kids because I'm a little bouncy sometimes. Pets and hugs are very nice, and sometimes when I get really tired I like to be carried like a baby. Doesn't that sound cute?? Please take me home so I can be your cuddle baby!
