Mugsy

Mugsy is a loyal and dedicated working dog with a heart of gold. Despite his rugged exterior, he is incredibly gentle and affectionate with those he trusts. Mugsy is highly intelligent and perceptive, always vigilant and ready to protect his flock. He thrives on routine and structure, making him an ideal companion for those with experience in handling livestock guardian dogs. He has experience living with birds and has shown promise in his ability to adapt to his role as a working dog. While he hasn't had extensive experience in a working environment, Mugsy is eager to learn and will benefit greatly from the guidance of an experienced LGD owner. He would do best working solo. As a solo working dog, Mugsy will need an owner who can provide him with the training he requires. He thrives in environments where he can have a job to do and a flock to protect. Mugsy will need proper socialization and exposure to different livestock to ensure he is comfortable and effective in his role.Big Paws of the Ozarks is a foster-based dog rescue in Northwest Arkansas.
