Murphy

MURPHY, a male boxer mix (we’re guessing American Bully) is up for adoption. He's 4 years old. He has not shown an overall alpha attitude but he is demanding for attention and affection. He doesn’t want to be in charge, no food or toy guarding, just wants to be first in line for the luvins’. We believe Murphy will get along with most dogs, our boxer-bully and Boston love him; but other pups that always want to be the apple of Mom’s eye may not be a good fit (our male mama’s boy boxer isn’t a fan). He needs a person or family who will continue to work on commands. Murphy knows basic commands and is eager to please. He enjoys some bursts of play then is happy to snuggle. Do you have a lot of time to give him the attention he requires? Murphy is crate trained but HATES it. Rams his head into the crate hates it. We have left him out and lost a Kleenex box and scrap paper but no real damage. He likes playing in the yard with his doggy foster siblings, and playing with toys. He loves to snooze and cuddle on the couch. Murphy came to us extremely nervous around people, especially men. He has opened up and has a lot of love to give. He is slow to meet with strangers but no longer intimidated. He has not been around kids, we think he would do well with respectful pet experienced children. Unknown for cats. 65 lbs.
