Murphy's foster family can't give her up! She is going to have a wonderful life and be happy and healthy in her new home! Her new family will make sure of it! Congrats Murphy!
September Murphy Update!
Murphy has stolen the heart, and the jacket as you can see in her latest photo, of a lovely couple in Coquitlam. She has come down from her fabulous foster home in Vernon to stay with a local couple who hope to adopt her once she has had all her medical needs tended to.
Murphy is an incredibly sweet, kissy, loyal, lovable and adorable little Shar-pei. Despite the pain she has been in all her little life she has warmed up to everyone she has met and has a habit of stealing hearts wherever she goes.
Please help TnT care for Murphy and make a much needed donation to her medical care. Visit our web-site to find out how you can help us help Murphy today!

Meet Murphy, August 2007:
Murphy is in a foster home in Vernon recovering from the first of several surgeries she will need before she is ready for a new home.
Murphy came to TnT via the Vernon SPCA in terrible shape. She needed to undergo immediate surgery as she was having severe tummy trouble. Once she heals from this first surgery she will come to Vancouver to see a specialist and prepare for hip surgery. Murphy is missing hip sockets in both hips. This surgery is going to be very costly but will hopefully allow Murphy to regain proper movement and no longer live in pain.
Murphy is as sweet as they come and young enough to have the strength to recover from her health challenges. TnT has fallen in love with her and her charming personality so we are raising funds to provide the treatment she needs. Murphy's foster mom tried to get us some great photos of her but said it was a bit of a challenge..."She is really hard to take pictures of because every time I bend down to take a picture she come up to me for a kiss and nuzzle- she is such a lovey girl. These pics are of her at bedtime so she looks a little dozy."
Please help us help Murphy by making a donation. Find out how to help and more about TnT Shar-pei Rescue at
