Murphy This giant pup is a sweetheart who loves snuggles on the couch. He is taller than his foster standing up, and frequently puts his paws on her shoulders to demonstrate this fact as well as to give kisses. Murphy is slow to warm up to new people on the property and has done best meeting people on neutral territory. He has a strong urge to protect his home and all its inhabitants. This is a dog who is loyal to a fault, and absolutely would take a bullet for you. He loves to be outside and he especially loves the snow. He spends his days patrolling and people watching, and sounding the alarm when anything is out of the ordinary. He does like to play with some other dogs, but he won't back down from a challenge either. Due to his large size, we recommend an adult only/older children home. He would do best as the only pet (definitely no cats) but applicants with other dogs would be considered on a case by case basis. Murphy is about 4ish years old, neutered, up to date on vetting, crate trained, and house broken. He is a Great Pyrenees mix. He is quiet and lazy when in the house, but outside you see his true Pyrenees colors show.
