My Story

Holy moly cute, mushy Mush face. Where to begin with Mush! Mush was found as a stray in the heat of the summer. He had signs of a prior life that no dog should have to live. He was thin, his feet were raw with infection and his collar was so tight that even today, months later, his neck is scarred and the fur has not returned! But today, Mush is as happy as a clam!! Initially he was uncertain about his new surroundings, life inside of a house, learning boundaries, meeting new people, and kennel training all took time for Mush to settle in and to gain confidence. Mush will make a wonderful companion. At this time, we are adopting Mush out as an only pet. He is currently living with his foster mom who has no other pets and Mush is happy and thriving . Mush goes on a nice walk once a day, and behaves himself quite well in the house, having inside and outside access. We estimate Mush to be about seven year old. Mush has soulful, brown eyes and the best snoot. He is a joy. He loves to do zoomies and help his foster mama fold laundry. We think Mush would do well with kids, in a house that has inside/outside access. His new family will need to continue to work with Mush with kennel training and proper exercise. If you are interested in possibly adopting Mush ($200 donation), an application is a MUST: https://povertyspets.org/adoption-form/. Once received, you will be contacted within 72 hours. Thank you!
