Mushroom is a four-year-old dog who is friendly towards other dogs, especially males. However, it is important to have a meet-and-greet to make sure the match is good. Mushroom has had difficult experiences and is still adjusting to being a dog again. Despite this, she has a lot of love to offer, enjoys being by our side, and gives lots of kisses, although it may take her some time to fully open up. At this stage, she is receiving oatmeal shampoo baths occasionally to aid her dry skin. The sores have turned into scabs or bare patches by now. I am optimistic that in due course, the extent of the issue will be hardly noticeable. Some patchy areas are already showing signs of hair regrowth. Although she is mostly blind in her left eye, she does exhibit some reaction, albeit minimal, as far as we can tell.
