My Story

Meet Myla! Myla came into our care at HSCC as a transfer from a local emergency veterinary hospital in need of surgery. We were able to provide her with the care she needed and she is now ready for a fresh start! Myla is a mellow, loving and easy-going lady, happiest hanging out with you and taking leisurely neighborhood strolls. She also looks forward to weekend adventures with her person and joining you on the couch to binge watch your favorite shows. She is comfortable around other dogs, and adores affection, pets and scratches from her people. She will put her head on your lap to let you know she's looking for love. Myla will be a perfect companion in a loving home where she can continue to blossom. Could you have room in your home and your heart for gentle Myla? Come meet her at HSCC and see if she could be your new best friend! Dogs: Myla is dog social! Have a dog at home? Come meet Myla at HSCC and if it's a good match, we will arrange to have you return with your canine companion(s) for a meet and greet prior to heading home! Cats: We have no history about Myla living with cats. Children: We have no history about Myla living with children. Type: Renaissance Dog You'll fall in love with this dog because they may be: Flexible - Adaptive to change, goes with the flow, at home in many environments Practical - Observant, self-sufficient, undemanding, low-maintenance, and efficient Good -Natured - This dog is tolerant, solicitous, cooperative, docile, and level-headed You might find this dog difficult to live with because they may be: Opportunist - Original opportunistic dog looking for leftovers of any kind Self-Serving - Their agenda and interest is their "job"; working for you is not (Credit: L.E.G.S: Learning, Environment, Genetics, Self - Kim Brophey)
