Myra

Meet the most beautiful Myra. Pictures do not do her justice. Myra came to us from a very bad situation, but she has thrived at the shelter and is not looking back. She is very ready for a loving home of her own and can not wait to learn all the new things life has to offer. She is about 2-3 years old. She can be pretty low-energy, and loves her walks but we also see her loving cuddles on the couch after new adventures. She walks very well on a leash and has even started doing nosework games at the shelter and is great at her new skill. She is very smart and loves to learn. She can be shy at first but once she gets warmed up (she accepts all snacks to push that along) you can be her best friend. Myra currently thinks cars a bit scary, but we are working on it. We believe with positive experiences she will eventually do great. Myra may do well with older kids. Other dogs and cats unknown. She most likely will not be a dog that loves playgroups, but can have dog friends from afar (think neighbors). She will need someone that will be happy to go slow and go at her pace as a lot will be new for her, but we promise, it will be worth it!
