Nana lived with her beloved owner for 15 years and then found herself at the Brooklyn shelter after her human passed away and no one stepped up to take her in. Nana has settled in nicely in her foster home and follows her foster mom around everywhere. She has been well fed in her life and could stand to lose some weight, which will also help her to feel much better. She can't go up and down stairs and if her foster mom goes upstairs she will give out a few cries and wait patiently at the bottom. She is very sweet and will become a part of your heart within minutes.
So - you think she's too old - why adopt a dog who may not have much longer? Her fate was pretty much determined before Rawhide stepped up. We don't know how much time she may have, but isn't it better to give her a family to love and a safe place to rest her head? You won't be sorry and you can at least say "I kept her safe". Please give her a chance.
