Nanook-Adopted

Adopted 3-3-7 A 1 year old, 26 pound Husky that may be mixed with a Whippet or Greyhound (she has a very thin build) or a Klee Kai. She is housebroken, sleeps in foster parents bedroom at night without making a sound - she will either sleep in a dog bed or on the bed, whichever you allow her to do! She does not like to be in a cage and will chew whatever is put in the cage with her. Her foster family has not let her loose in the house while they are gone yet, but she may be trustworthy enough to try it. Nanook is a very loving, submissive dog and she gets along great with the foster family's dogs (2 males, 1 female). It is a must that she goes to a home with a large fenced in yard and other dog. Since she is a runner and she loves to be outside playing, she has to have room to run. Nanook is very quick and may try to dart out of the door if you are not watching her. ID tags and a dog license of course is a must! Also, Nanook needs to have another dog in the household to play with. If the other dog was around her size that would be great. She likes to have a companion with her at all times. She has learned from the other dogs in the foster home very quickly. Nanook is very smart. She cannot go to a home with cats as she has a high prey drive. Nanook listens very well and seems to learn quickly. She also does not bark - she is very quiet and sometimes you don't know she is even there. However, she's a Husky and does do some "talking" when she gets excited. All in all, Nanook would make a great companion. Foster-PPI-78 2/21
