Most of our dogs are at the shelter but some are in foster homes. Before being adopted all dogs will spend 2 weeks in quarantine, receive 2 sets of vaccines, be dewormed twice, if over 6 months of age they will be tested for heart worms, and they will be spayed or neutered. The local adoption fee is $100. The out of state adoption fee is $125 which does not include transportation fees. 9/24/09 I am almost one year old and I have spent most of my life here at the shelter. When I was just 2 months old, the police took me and my siblings away from some people who were not very nice to us. We had no food or water. The Humane Society took us and gave us plenty of love and food. I am approximately 10 months old now. I am pretty laid back but I do love to be loved. I just need someone to give me a chance.
