NIKKIA - this 4-6 year old wooly girl is a beautiful black and white husky with crystal blue twinkling eyes who loves people. She is friendly, happy, independent and loves to be petted. She found herself in a shelter through no fault of her own, and the shelter staff fell in love with her. She is ok with other dogs, can have a bit of a dominant personality, so we would recommend a submissive dog companion.

Nikkia is heartworm positive - NorSled will pay for the treatments, however it would be great if she could be in her forever home when she went through the treatment - it is hard on the dog, and would be best if she had a feeling of security.
