Talk about a transformation! This is a perfect example of our, "Why? Meet Oak. Oak is a female lab mix that came to Home 2 Home with her fellow littermates after being saved from a hoarding situation. When she first arrived at her foster home, she was so shut down that she just laid on the floor facing the wall and couldn't bring herself to move. Now, Oak is really coming out of her shell and loving everything that this new life is showing her! "Hi everyone! I am Oak. I am currently in a foster home with adults, toddlers, and other pups. I became fast friends with my new foster sister. She is just the best. My foster mom says that she is an Angel and I can't help but feel the same way. She has helped me come out of my shell and is showing me how to be a pup in a home with a family. At first, I couldn't understand why on earth she kept going up to these humans and letting them pet all over her. And willingly, too! But I finally took a chance and I am never going back! These belly rubs and scratches behind my ears are the BEST! Oak is a bit shy, but gentle and loving and so deserving of a forever family!
