Meet Oakland! She went on an adventure to the city! Oakland was picked up as a stray dog in Willits on a blistering 113 degree day. Her finders were visiting from Canada and could not find a shelter here in our area that would take her. So instead of leaving her on the side of the road she went with them! Oakland Animal Services is at capacity and reached out for our support. Taking up a kennel at their facility puts one of their dogs at risk so we were happy to get miss Oakland back to Mendocino County. She is now tucked into a cozy kennel at HSIMC complete with extra toys! She would love to meet you soon!
