Oakley

Meet Oakley! Oakley is a Border Collie mix that was adopted from CCHS last September. He was returned to CCHS because he was chasing the cats, bunny and birds in the family. He is a friendly dog but could use some training with leash walking. He's also quite energetic and would do best with an active lifestyle. As he's a Border Collie he's a smart boy and will probably catch on quickly. He's also following his breed instincts when he's chasing small critters. Oakley's new family will need to be ready to deal with that and be willing to keep him busy so he doesn't get himself into trouble. Adoption applications can be filled out at CCHS or online through our website, www.cchs-petshelter.org. Applications are not first come, first served. All applications will be reviewed by the adoption committee and the home chosen will be the one considered to be the best match. All dogs and puppies have been vaccinated for Distemper and Bordetella, dewormed and microchipped. If old enough, they will be vaccinated for Rabies and blood tested for Heartworm, Lymes, Anaplasmosis and Erlichiosis. Dogs and puppies will be spayed or neutered before adoption.
