Odie

We saved Odie's life 4 years ago when he was going to be destroyed in a high-kill LA shelter. He had been dumped by his heartless owners and even though he was cute as a button, no one adopted him. Once we bailed him out, we discovered what a great little man he was. We found him a home with a senior who had lots of love to give and really wanted him. She assured us that if she ever became too ill to care for him, that he would be cared for by her son or daughter. Sadly, his adopter recently became ill and her children promptly dumped him on us. Even when our dogs become unwanted by their families, they are always wanted with us! Odie was confused at first and very sad but then he began to play with the other dogs and snuggle with his foster mom who had saved his precious life years ago. He seemed to remember his old surroundings. Odie has always been a good boy and we adore him. He is very sweet, friendly and loves other dogs. He is not a barker and loves to just be near you. Odie is now 5 years old and still has many years of love to give. He is healthy as a horse and will be having his teeth cleaned before he goes to his new home. Odie deserves to have a forever home at last so he will never be abandoned again. Lucky for Odie, he has us to fall back on. Most dogs in his situation are dumped in animal shelters where they often don't have a chance of being adopted. Middle-aged dogs make the best companions!
