Olive

Meet Olive! Olive came in as a stray who was never reclaimed. Based on her skittish personality, we believe she may have been mistreated in the past. Despite this, she is still lovable and hopeful for a better future for herself. We would love to see Olive find the family she deserves! Like we said, Olive can be a little skittish, but once she gets to know you she is all cuddles and nothing else. She deserves a family that will see her as the beautiful and sweet pup she is, and treat her with gentleness for the rest of her life! This girl walks great on a leash and is interested in treats, so we are sure she could shape into a very well trained dog for a family willing to put in the work. She is as gentle as a flower and does not jump or care to romp around. Olive is content with laying at your feet while you read your favorite novel or maybe even in the bed with you at night. She does great with other dogs of all shapes and sizes, and doesn’t mind sharing the attention! Based upon how easygoing and gentle she is, we think she would make an excellent candidate for a home with kids who understand how to treat dogs with respect. Olive is a petite girl wishing only 35 pounds at a year old. She has been vaccinated, treated for internal/external parasites and has tested negative for heartworm disease.
