OPAL arrived at the shelter this year at the end of May 2024. She has been an absolute riot to watch as she stands up on her back feet in her kennel to check on the comings and goings of staff. She is a funny, playful young adult female boxer mix with an estimated age of just one year at her arrival. She gets along with other dogs which is a tremendous help at the shelter and makes life easier for her, too. So, she has buddies to hang out with that come and go as a couple of the others have been adopted. She has not yet been spayed and that must be done before she can go home with you as your own. Serious adopters are encouraged to CALL the shelter to schedule an adoption appointment. Staff can explain the adoption procedures and fees when you call. The shelter does require EXACT change in the form of cash or a check. the shelter is UNABLE to accept credit or debit. So, please go prepared!
