Most of our dogs are at the shelter but some are in foster homes. Before being adopted all dogs will spend 2 weeks in quarantine, receive 2 sets of vaccines, be dewormed twice, if over 6 months of age they will be tested for heart worms, and they will be spayed or neutered. The local adoption fee is $100. The out of state adoption fee is $125 which does not include transportation fees. 3/12/09 This is such a sad story. Oscar was found tied to a tree and he had no shelter in the snow. He had no food or water and had climbed inside of the tree to seek shelter from the blowing wind and snow. He was taken to the vet and he had sometime in the past fractured his hip but the vet assured us he could lead a normal life with the way the hip had already mended. He is such a good boy and loves people and other dogs. He really deserves to be taken and loved and given the affection that he has never had before. He is heartworm negative and is up to date on vaccines and has been neutered. Just come by and see this dog and you will fall in love!!!
