Padme

Padme is a super-sweet, fun-loving beauty. Smart as a whip, this 1-year old girl works hard to earn her treats, and in a short time learned "sit," "shake (paw)" and "fetch." She is good in the car, walks well on a loose leash and is not reactive to other dogs. With a little more work, her foster believes she'll be a great walking, running or hiking companion. Padme loves fetch and has a particular affection for plastic plant pots ?? but is gentle with her toys, preferring to carry them around rather than destroy them. She's young and has lots of energy, although given a calm environment, she settles and naps with her human nearby. Padme did well in an active household with people (and other animals) coming and going and got along well with the older family dog. She made friends with everyone as soon as she made sure they were not a 'threat.' Her fosters were successfully working on crate training and say she is 90% housetrained and should be 100% very quickly. Padme is learning to be her "best self" and is looking for someone with the energy and desire to continue that journey as her constant companion. Maybe you?
