Padme Amidala (Who we just call Padme!) has been with us since April 2024. She was brought in by one of our animal officers. She was only six months old and clearly had little to zero human interaction.
After a few short weeks, we watched Padme get more and more comfortable with us. She began walking over to us for sniffs - eventually allowing us to pet her. She stopped looking at us in fear and looked at us with happiness in her eyes.
Padme has become a staff favorite here. She has come along way and we would really love to see this girl leave the shelter to start a new life. She can still be shy with strangers, but we truly hope someone will be able to look past her shyness. Padme is a loving, gentle dog who deserves to know what a home is. Come down our shelter to meet this sweet girl!
