Paisley

COURTESY POST This beautiful girl is about to lose her home. We received a call from a family in Telluride that adopted Paisley about 2 years ago. She was two and a half at the time, so four and a half years old now. She's been doing pretty well for the last couple of years but evidently just recently in the last year she started to urinate or defecate in the middle of the night indoors. Used to be she would come and wake them up if she had to go out, but a couple dozen times in the last year she has failed to wake them up, and eliminated in the house. They live in an apartment, so have to take her and her canine brother out to relieve themselves. They also say she is sometimes reactive towards other dogs when she's out on a leash. She seems to be okay when she is off leash. The boarding facility that they've had her at a couple of time couldn't give me a whole lot other than she's very sweet with the staff and seemed very smart and well-trained. The owners requested that she not comingle with other dogs while at the boarding facility, so they can't vouch for her behavior. They said she's very responsive and kept her kennel tidy waited for the morning to go out. The owners have an 8 year old son and Paisley is good with him. As I said, Paisley is about four and a half years old, about 55 lb, spayed and up-to-date on vaccines. She loves her canine brother, a black lab about her same age.
