Are you ready to be best friends? I am Paizley, I was with Arizona Animal Welfare League for over 485 days! I was transferred here in hopes to find my forever family. I am a Coonhound/German Shephard mix and am about 8 years old! My previous foster said that I was the PERFECT house guest! I was working with Feisty Fido to help reduce my reactivity to dogs and now I even play with other gentle dogs in a playgroup! I would love to meet any future friends you may have for me! I prefer older children, but love all people! I know how to sit, look, touch, down, and am working on leave it and drop it! Who ever said "you can't teach dogs old tricks" clearly hasn't met me! I know a whole bunch of words, including: place, stay, free, sit, shake, lay down, leave it, take it, wait, and let's go. I am pretty calm, potty trained, and LOVE to cuddle! Taking me on a daily walk or having a yard for me to play in would be plenty exercise for me! I'm not supposed to have too many human snacks, but I love some unusual ones including: meat, cheese, carrots, bell peppers, green beans, peas and carrots, strawberries, cashews, peanuts, popcorn, pretzels and bread. I am not a counter-surfer, I do not chew on your things, and I do not jump people, no matter how excited I get to see you! Do I sound like your new best friend? I hope so!
