Hi....my name is Paka. I am looking for a special home that will appreciate me and make me a part of the family. As you can see by my picture I am a good looking young guy, but even though I am cute and my last family loved me, they kept me outside on a chain most of the time. I got really lonely and cold....especially in the winter. My foster mom promises me that when I go to my new forever home, I can be inside with my family. I love being inside and I am a very good boy.
I am a little over a year old. I am not very big...I weigh 45 pounds and am full grown. It has been determined that I am a beagle/red heeler mix. I am a happy boy who LOVES to play with other nice dogs and be with my people. I love to play with toys, especially balls and tugs. I am good with the inside cats, but when the barn cats run...well, I want to chase them...but I won't hurt them. I know how to sit, come when called, and walk nicely on a leash. I like to ride in the car. I sleep in my crate at night, and I am housebroken now that I get to live inside. When I think I have done something bad, I roll over on my back and show you my belly.
