Pancake

Pancake is ready for her retirement home! Pancake was found as a stray and like the story goes, no one came looking for her. We took Pancake into our rescue and have enjoyed having her. Pancake is estimated to be about 14 years old and some sort of terrier mix. Pancake was found with some really rough eyes. She had one of them removed on 5/13. And the other one we can assume is mostly blind and will not get better. As of right now that eye isn't causing her any pain and she's slowly learning how to live with one eye. Even though she is special needs, she gets around really well! She knows how to use a dog door, loves to jump on the couch for naps and navigates her surrounding with ease. She is still running into things but doesn't seem to stop her what so ever! She is potty trained and like stated before, knows how to use a dog door with ease! She can be overwhelmed when she first meets new dogs but adjusts after a few days. In her last foster home she lived with a couple cats and didn't seem to like them. According to the old foster she was trying to bite them. So she came to live at our rescue headquarters while we find her new placement. While being at HQ, she has met our free roaming rabbit and has done really well with her. She would just need proper introduction to any animals in the home. Pancake also lived with kids of multiple ages in her last foster home and did really well them. Because she is special needs, her adoption fee is only $75. She may need to have the other eye removed down the road if it becomes painful. She is up to date on vaccines, microchipped and fairly healthy other than the eye.
