Panda will need to find placement with a foster or an adopter through PACC before 3pm on Wednesday April 17, 2024. Panda first came to the shelter back in 2021 as part of a hoarding situation, where he was living with numerous other dogs and was under socialized with people. He was fortunate enough to have received some socialization with the help of staff and volunteers and lived in an adoptive home for well over a year. He is still a little nervous with handling, but in the shelter, he has not shown any potential to fear bite. Panda deserves a second chance at life. He has lived a rough life this far and is looking to find a permanent home to live out his days living his best life. In his previous home, Panda did display some reactivity to people while on the leash and did have an undocumented bite to the husband in the home. Panda would like to meet every member in the household before going home. Once Panda is comfortable with his people, he can be protective so he will need to be kept in a crate or separate room when visitors enter the home. Panda does well with other dogs and might do better in a home with another dog. If you are interested in meeting Panda please come to PACC and ask to meet him.
