Hi there! My name is Patch, and I'm an 8-year-old Beagle with a lot of love to give. I was originally adopted as a young pup from this very shelter, but I recently found myself back here as a stray. Unfortunately, my previous owner couldn't be reached, so now I'm on the lookout for a new forever home. If you're searching for a dog with a balanced energy level, I might be the perfect fit for you. I'm not one of those hyper, bouncy pups, but I do love easy walks and I'm great on a leash. I recently enjoyed a walk with a 9-year-old and had a wonderful time outside. I also walked with 4- and 7-year-old boys, and I was gentle while taking treats from them and when they petted me. I have medium energy easy to walk, though I can get a bit excited and pull when I see other people or dogs. I'm not fearful and don't chase after others, which makes our walks pretty enjoyable. I love meeting new dogs and people, and I seem to be a bit of a follower-I just love being around other dogs. I would probably thrive in a home with other dogs to keep me company. I'm a sweet boy who loves affection and companionship.
