His tricolor coat shimmers in shades of black, silver, and brown.His happy personality and wise and merry brown eyes truly set him apart. Patrick is three years old and weighs 51 pounds. Patrick is truly a joyful presence who lives in the moment and savors each and every day. He has a heart full of love he gratefully shares, and we love spending time with him! Patrick quickly became a favorite among the staff and volunteers. He is so sweet and always ready to shower everyone with affection. His happy-go-lucky, good natured personality makes him a sought after companion. One of Patrick’s favorite pastimes is rolling on his back in the grass. He will wriggle with delight, scratching his back against the cool earth and basking in the simple pleasure of it all. Patrick charms everyone with his playful spirit! Patrick’s favorite thing is really being present for his human. Whenever someone stands still for long enough, he will sidle up and plop himself down, his warm body a comforting weight. It is his way of saying, “I’m here, and I love you.” And then there are his kisses. Big, sloppy, joyful kisses that leave no doubt about his affection. Patrick loves to go on walks with the volunteers, trotting alongside them with his tail wagging. He is so curious, attentive and eager to please. The fresh air and the thrill of the trail brings out the best in him, showcasing his intelligence and boundless energy. Patrick will be an awesome hiking and running buddy, too. Patrick charms everyone with his playful spirit! He has had the best time in play groups with his fellow shelter companions. If you have another dog, we do require a meet and greet to ensure compatibility. Patrick is an intelligent dog who wants to please and should master any commands you want to teach him.
